This fragrant herbal blend includes thyme, basil, savoury, fennel and lavender blossoms. Used as a rub, in marinades or in sautés, it complements all meat, poultry and fish dishes. It’s wonderful in stews, casseroles, sauces and salad dressings. Sprinkle it on a home made pizza just as it comes out of the oven or use to flavour cheese or cream based dips and sauces. Rubbing it briskly between your palms releases the aromatic oils and dramatically intensifies the lovely fragrance. Use up to a teaspoon or so per portion.
