Dave's Insanity Hot Sauce was one of the first to use capsaicin extract to up the heat ante and start the how-hot-can-you-handle-it craze. The sauce's inventor, Dave Hirschkop, went on to add increasingly blistering products to his lineup, but 20 years ago this was billed as the "world's hottest sauce".
