Japanese worcester sauce is mellower than the British version of what is originally and essentially an Asian sauce, due to the prominence of fruits and vegetables in the mix (including apple, plum, apricot, carrot, tomato, onion). In Japan, it is used with Western-Chinese-Japanese fusion dishes such as deep fried meats, dumplings and so on, but Bulldog is a terrific alternative to Western brands for any of the typical uses – with eggs, meat, cheese, tomatoes, in marinades, etc.
