White Rice Flour, Erawan (400g)

Rice flour is a good gluten free substitute for wheat flour, for dusting items before frying, for making roux, as a thickener, even in baking. In the Far East and South East Asia, rice flour is not used as a substitute for wheat, but in its own right as to make soft, doughs for savoury or sweet dishes, such as Malaysian kueh and mochi. Thai rice flour suit this purpose best, since it is finer than Western style rice flour.
