Tandoori Paste, Patak's (284ml)

Tandoori dishes are dry, not saucy, and are traditionally baked/roasted in an extremely hot clay oven, called a  tandoor. This paste, mixed with yoghurt creates a traditional, brightly-coloured tandoor marinade. Since butter chicken (murgh makhani) is left-over tandoori chicken heated up in a creamy tomato sauce, this spice paste can also be used to make that classic dish. (Contains mustard seeds, and may also contain peanuts or tree nuts.)
