Cèpes de Bordeaux / Canada
Porcinis or cèpes (boletus edulis) are amongst the most highly prized forest mushrooms, and deservedly so. They have a lovely smooth texture, a flavour that is both delicate and forceful, and an intense “mushroomy” fragrance. They dry beautifully, and when reconstituted in warm water, they are wonderful in sautés, soups, creamy sauces and fish and egg dishes. Our porcinis are always of the highest quality, picked wild in British Columbia.
